Ching Ho Estate
Haven of Exquisite Farm-themed Sculptures Imbued With Artistic & Cultural Flair
Ching Ho Estate
5 Ching Hiu Road, Sheung Shui
in mobile
Ching Ho Estate in Sheung Shui was built on farmland where the Shek Sheung River flowed through, and in honor of this history, the Housing Authority named the estate “Ching Ho”, meaning “clear river”.

The design team, in accordance with the geographical and historical context of the estate, created a series of sculptures under the theme “The Leisure Life of Farmers”, which are placed in different corners of the estate.

These intricate and lifelike sculptures depict various farming themes, including a majestic rooster, a mother goose, a large buffalo, a small sparrow, and farming tools like ploughs, harrows, hoes, straw sandals, and wicker baskets.

Cultural enthusiasts can come here to admire these exquisite sculptures, take pictures, and savour the nostalgia of old rural life!
